I listed an old iPad Pro on here a couple months back and someone straight up told me my photos looked like I took them in a dark basement with a potato. They were right. I changed everything: took new pics in natural light by my kitchen window, cleaned the screen so it wasn't smudgy, and even showed the back with the serial number visible. Thing sold in 2 days after sitting for 3 weeks. Has anyone else gotten useful feedback from buyers that actually improved your sales?
Last month I was about to trade in my old iPhone 8 at the carrier store because they offered $30. Then I saw a guy in line behind me grumble about how he sold his old phone here for five times that amount. So I listed it on this forum for $150 and it sold in two days. Has anyone else found that selling here gets way better money than those trade-in deals?
I picked up a used Dell battery from a guy near the mall for just $30 because my old one died at 10% every time. Figured it would crap out in a week but it's been holding a charge like new since January. Only catch is the plastic clip broke off on install so I had to tape it in place. Cost me like $5 for electrical tape but barely noticeable if your laptop sits on a desk. Anyone else find cheap batteries that somehow last longer than the expensive ones?
Picked up a JBL Flip 3 from a guy on here last week for $15. Figured it would take two seconds to connect to my phone. Instead it was in pairing mode but kept failing because the previous owner's phone was still saved to it. Had to hold down the volume up and bluetooth button for 10 seconds to factory reset it. Has anyone else run into a reset trick that took way longer to find than it should have?
Picked up a Samsung from a guy near Atlanta for $120. He said it was a carrier buyback with a clean IMEI. Phone bricked itself during an update and now I'm out the cash and stuck with a paperweight - anyone else get burned by these "clean" buyback units?
