Went from hand-mapping fiber routes to using Google Earth
Back in '09 I used to draw fiber lines on paper napkins and manila folders. Now I just pull up coordinates on my phone. Crazy how much faster it is, but I kinda miss the feel of a sharpie on paper. Anyone else hold onto old habits from their early days?

Oh man, I had a buddy who used to keep a stack of grease-stained pizza boxes under his desk just to sketch out node placements on the cardboard. He swore the grease made the ink flow better.

Did he ever use the grease stains as part of the network map?
