Delivery driver spotted me a $20 on a ghost kitchen order, here's the catch

Last Wednesday I picked up from a plaza in Nashua. Address looked right but the kitchen was boarded up. Called the customer. Turns out the ghost kitchen moved three blocks over six months ago and the app never updated. Driver before me already took the first order and probably pocketed the food. This happens once a week now. Anyone else chasing phantom restaurants that dont exist?

Whoa that's wild. I actually read an article last month about how ghost kitchens are basically just popping up and shutting down with zero oversight. The apps don't care because they're just collecting fees anyway. I heard some places in bigger cities are literally just renting out old pizza joints and changing the name every few weeks. You'd think they'd at least update the address in the system but nope, it's just a mess for drivers to deal with.

Is it really a big deal though? People still get their food.
