Commercial dishwashers vs home ones for a dog bakery...

I ran a small dog treat bakery out of my kitchen for 6 months using my regular dishwasher to sanitize pans and piping bags. It took forever and stuff never came out fully dry. Last week I grabbed a used commercial unit off Craigslist for $300 and honestly it cut my cleaning time from 40 minutes to 12 minutes per load. The heat cycle actually sterilizes everything too. Has anyone else switched to commercial gear for a home side hustle and seen a massive difference?

I was totally skeptical about commercial gear for home use. I remember rolling my eyes when a friend told me their $800 dishwasher saved their sanity. But after 8 months of running my soap making side hustle, I finally caved and got a used commercial unit from a restaurant supply place. The regular home dishwasher just couldnt handle the sticky soap residue no matter how many cycles I ran. Now I can fit twice as many molds in one load and everything comes out actually dry. It made me realize I was just stubborn and wasting time fighting with the wrong tool for the job.

Ngl, "fighting with the wrong tool for the job" hit me hard. I spent a year trying to cut frozen cookie dough with a regular chef's knife before I finally accepted that a $30 dough scraper would change my life.
