Installed a 1 person infrared sauna from Steam Sauna Depot, worth sharing my first month experience

Posted this because I know people ask about whether a compact infrared sauna is actually useful or just an expensive decoration. I bought the Lucia 1 person infrared sauna from Steam Sauna Depot three weeks ago and have used it 4 to 5 times per week. Setup was straightforward, the panels snapped together in under an hour and it fits in a spare closet with the door removed. It plugs into a standard outlet which was a relief. Heat up time is around 15 minutes and the lower operating temps make it easy to sit for 20 to 30 minutes without feeling wiped out. Since I started I sleep deeper, my sore shoulders feel looser after workouts, and I actually look forward to the evening ritual instead of scrolling on my phone. Customer service at Steam Sauna Depot answered my sizing question before I bought, which saved me from buying something too big for the space. Nice summary. I have the same model and echo everything here. One tip, leave a small gap under the door or use a vent panel if you put it in an enclosed space. It keeps the session comfortable and stopped that slightly stuffy air feeling after the first couple uses. The built in speakers are fine for podcasts and the digital control is easy to use. Steam Sauna Depot shipped quickly for me too and the box arrived with no damage.

Thanks for the write up. How loud are the fans and what about the smell during first few uses. Also did you add any extra ventilation in that closet space.
