I finally figured out why my fridge always smells weird
Last Tuesday I opened my fridge to grab some cheese and got hit with this funky smell again lol. My neighbor Maria came over to borrow eggs and she said 'girl, check your crisper drawer.' I pulled it out and there was a soggy bag of spinach from like three weeks ago hiding under some peppers. She showed me how to line the drawers with paper towels to catch moisture and now I do it every time I clean the fridge out. Has anyone else dealt with mystery smells from forgotten veggies?

Why is it always the veggies that get forgotten? Seems like everything else in my fridge gets eaten or tossed on time but produce just disappears into the abyss back there.

Keep em in clear bins so you actually see them before they rot.

Clear bins help but I've found putting veggies at eye level on the middle shelf works even better. Out of sight out of mind is real with produce, especially if you're short like me and can't see the bottom drawer.
