My client's cat walked across my keyboard during a video call and deleted a whole project folder.
I was on a Zoom call with a client in Portland, sharing my screen to show some design files, when her cat jumped up and started tapping keys. The folder with all the project assets just vanished from my desktop. I had to laugh it off and quickly pull up a backup from my cloud drive. Has anyone else had a pet cause a major work disaster?

Used to think backups were just for big crashes. That cat deleting a folder showed me how fast a small, dumb accident can wipe out hours of work. Now I see the point of having everything saved automatically.

Okay but come on, how big of a disaster was it really? You said you had a backup ready to go right away. Sounds like the cat just gave you a funny story to tell and a reminder that backups are good. Major disasters don't get fixed that fast.
