Hit 500 jars of hot sauce and it messed with my head

I've been fermenting hot sauce for about 4 years now just as a hobby. Last weekend I did a rough count of all the jars I've finished and it came out to 503. That blew my mind because I never thought I'd stick with it that long or make that much. Has anyone else done a tally of their ferments and gotten a number that surprised them?

Start labeling with batch numbers to track improvements over time.

Yeah the numbering system is a total game changer once you get past 50 jars.

Just jumped on here to say I used to think labeling everything was overkill, figured I'd remember what I did. Nope. After about 200 jars things got real blurry between my ghost pepper mango batch and the one with pineapple. Finally caved and started numbering em, and @tarajenkins was right. Now I can look back at jar #89 and see exactly where I went wrong with the salt ratio versus something like #247 that turned out perfect. Night and day difference for tracking tweaks.
