Paint sprayer vs roller for my kitchen cabinets - roller won easily
I spent last weekend painting my kitchen cabinets in my house in Phoenix. I used a $100 Wagner sprayer on the first set of doors and they came out all drippy and uneven. Then I switched to a high density foam roller for the rest and it looked way better. The sprayer needed so much masking and cleanup it took me 3 hours just to prep. The roller gave me a smooth finish with no overspray and I finished all 12 doors in one day. Has anyone else had better luck with sprayers or was it just my cheap one?

Makes me think of how often simple tools beat the fancy ones in real life.

Yeah, but are we talking "simple" as in fewer parts or "simple" as in cheaper? Because my granddad's old leatherman is just as complicated as any modern multitool, just built different.
