Paint sprayer vs brush for kitchen cabinets, sprayer won but cost me a weekend
I refaced my cabinets last month in Austin and tried both routes on upper and lower sets. Brush and roller gave me smooth results but took three coats over two days, plus brush marks showed in direct sunlight. Rented a Graco sprayer for $65 and knocked out both coats in one afternoon, but masking off everything took 4 hours alone. The finish looks factory smooth and definitely better, but was it worth the extra prep and cleanup hassle for you all? Has anyone else gone back to brushing after dealing with overspray spots on their countertops?
