My neighbor called my DIY pantry shelves "a waste of a Saturday" and honestly I think he's wrong
Last Saturday I finished building 3 simple pine shelves in my pantry for about $40 in wood and brackets, and my neighbor looked at them and said I should've just bought the prefab ones at the store for $80. Thing is, mine fit the exact 11 inch gap next to the water heater and his prefab ones wouldn't have, plus I got to pick the height for our big cereal boxes. Am I crazy for thinking custom sizing beats saving 4 hours?
