My bathroom remodel turned into a weird plumbing puzzle
I replaced a sink in my Chicago apartment last month and now the toilet flushes twice, but only after 9 PM. Has anyone else had a ghost plumber mess with their pipes?

Weird! I swear stuff like this happens all the time now. You fix one thing and something else gets a mind of its own, like my neighbor's porch light that only flickers on Tuesdays. Makes you wonder if all our old buildings are just haunted by gremlins.

Tell me about it. My kitchen faucet started dripping in morse code after I swapped out the garbage disposal last year. Three fast drips, then two slow ones, like it was trying to send me a message. The whole house just has a vibe after dark, pipes groaning for no reason. I'm half convinced these old places develop their own rules once the sun goes down.
