Hot take: Teenagers should never be allowed to paint their own bedrooms
My 16-year-old nephew insisted on painting his room himself. He chose a dark color and now the walls look patchy. I think it's a good lesson in DIY, but my sister says we should have hired a pro from the start. Where do you stand on letting teens tackle big projects?

Let them try. So what if it's patchy? That's how they learn.

So what if it's patchy is exactly right, @emman68.

How many tries, @emman68, before patchy turns into solid?
