Hot take: cheap caulk guns are a false economy

I learned this the hard way last Saturday after my second $5 caulk gun dripped silicone all over my basement floor in Tucson. Third time I bought a $20 one from the hardware store and it actually stopped when I wanted it to. The cheap ones just keep oozing even after you release the pressure. Has anyone else found a brand that actually works for less than ten bucks?
