Drywall taping conversation made me rethink my whole mudding setup
I was talking to my cousin who does commercial finishing in Denver last week, and he said he never uses a banjo for corners, just a 6 inch knife and a steady hand. That hit different because I've been hauling around a bazooka for close to 15 years and always hated cleaning it out. He told me it takes him 3 passes max on any corner and I should try it on my own basement remodel before I buy any more rental tools. Has anyone else ditched the automatic tapers for simple hand taping and actually stuck with it?

Trust me on this, once you go hand taping you'll never want to touch that bazooka again.
