Drywall dust everywhere because I skipped the plastic sheeting
Last summer I decided to sand a 12x15 bedroom ceiling in my 1940s house in Columbus without taping off the doorway. 3 minutes in and I realized my mistake, the whole upstairs hallway looked like a snowstorm hit it. I ended up spending 2 full days cleaning every surface with a shop vac and damp rags, plus my furnace filter clogged twice. My wife walked in and just said "you knew better" before turning around. Has anyone else taken shortcuts on containment and paid for it later, or is it just me?
