Shoutout to the $2 DVD bin at the Walmart in Fargo for giving me 14 movies and zero regrets
Stopped at the Walmart on 13th Ave in Fargo while waiting on a tire rotation last month and killed 40 minutes in the $2 DVD bin. Walked out with 14 movies for $28, and my wife gave me a look like I had lost my mind. I rated every one of them that night on a scale of 1 to 10, and the highest score went to a 1998 shark movie I had never heard of. My rule is anything under 4 gets donated, so 6 of them are already in a box for the thrift store. The sad part is I had more fun ranking that bin than I did with the $15 movie I streamed two nights before. Does anyone else keep a running score for cheap finds like this, or am I just weird about it?
Used to think scoring cheap finds was overthinking a fun hobby, but your shark movie story changed my mind on that. Now I kinda want to start my own list next time I dig through a bin.
