Rewatching a show from 3 years ago feels totally different now
Last week I finally rewatched The Bear season 1 after it sat for like 3 years since I first binged it. Back then I rated it a solid 8 because the stress was real but I couldn't relate to the kitchen chaos. Now after switching jobs twice and dealing with a brutal manager in March, that same show hits like a 9.5, the panic in the walk-in fridge scene felt way too familiar. Does anyone else find their ratings shift this much based on life timing, or am I just overthinking it?

The Bear definitely lands different once you've lived through some of that chaos, the stress reads more like a diary than a show. That fridge scene goes from intense to straight-up documentary when you've had your own version of those shifts.
