Re-watching Twin Peaks with my 14 year old hit different
I tried showing him old episodes back in March and he nodded off twice, but last week I started with the pilot and told him about watching it live in 1990 when everyone thought it was a soap opera spoof. He asked if Laura Palmer's theme reminded me of the music my dad played on the stereo, and that got us talking for an hour. Anyone else have a show that clicked for a younger person only after you shared the context around it?
