One comment about my audio mix made me redo everything

Someone in the comments said my dialogue was buried under the music, and they were right. I went back and pulled the soundtrack down 4 decibels in a few key scenes, and suddenly the whole episode felt clearer. Has anyone else had a single piece of feedback that forced a full remix?

Funny how one random internet stranger can undo hours of "careful" mixing. I've been there too, spent a whole weekend thinking my levels were perfect, then someone says "turn the music down" and suddenly the whole thing clicks. That 4 dB probably feels like a slap in the face but honestly it's the best kind of feedback, the kind that makes you wonder what else you've been deaf to. Now I mix with headphones AND speakers because apparently my ears need a second opinion. At least you didn't have to scrap the whole episode, just the soundtrack's ego.
