My neighbor's 4am vinyl habit finally made sense at 40

After six months of hearing muffled jazz through the wall of my Denver duplex, the retired librarian next door explained she plays one record per day to mark each year her late husband was alive, and now I sort my whole music collection by who I was when I first heard it, so does anyone else attach specific people to certain albums or am I just weird?
