Hot take: I rated the coffee at a truck stop outside Tulsa higher than the fancy shop downtown
Stopped at a Love's on I-44 last Tuesday and grabbed a plain black coffee for $1.79, and it beat the $6 pour-over I had at a place in the Arts District the day before. I think I've been confusing price and atmosphere with how something actually tastes. Anyone else notice their ratings change when they stop looking at the menu and just drink the thing?
