That one client who kept saying 'just a trim'...

Had a woman come in last Tuesday at the shop in Salem, said she wanted 'barely an inch' off. I showed her the length with my fingers and she nodded. After the cut she looked in the mirror and said I took off way too much. She had 4 inches in the sink. Anyone else have clients who can't visualize what they're asking for?

Oh man I used to think people were just being picky but then my husband asked me to trim his hair and got mad when I actually only took off half an inch like he said. Totally changed my view on this!

Oh man that reminds me of my friend Sarah! She offered to give her brother a quick haircut before his job interview and he said "just take off a little off the top." She took off maybe an inch and he flipped out because his "hairline looked different" lol. I guess what feels like nothing to one person is a major change to someone else.
