I was rushing a Saturday morning blowout in my second chair and grabbed the iron without checking the dial, and that smell hit me before she did. I comped the trim, ordered a heat protectant, and now I run every new tool on a strand of my own hair before it touches a client, so what temp do you all cap fine hair at?
