Changed my mind on dry shampoo after a 12 hour Saturday shift in Denver

I used to tell every client dry shampoo was a crutch that would wreck their scalp, but when my 2pm bridal party ran into a 9pm wedding in Denver, I sprayed some Batiste on the bride and she looked fresh all night. Now I stock it at my chair and use it as a root lifter before blowouts. Anybody else flip on a product they used to hate?

You said she looked fresh all night, but what did her scalp look like after 12 hours of that? I ask because I tried the same thing on a bride two summers ago and she came back three weeks later with a flaky patch right at her part line that took forever to calm down. The spray worked great for the photos, don't get me wrong, but I'm curious if you noticed any buildup or itchiness when she came in for her next appointment. Did you have to change up her wash routine or do anything to get her scalp back to normal? Because that part is what keeps me from stocking it at my chair full time.
