Warning: I chose the $12 power supply over the $45 one and it died in a client's build 3 weeks later
I know better, but the cheap one was all the shop had in stock that Friday and the customer needed his machine back before the weekend. Now I keep two spares on the shelf and want to know what brands you all trust for budget builds that won't come back to bite you.

Cheap psus never worth the risk, even on budget builds, go Seasonic or Corsair instead.
