Vent: I blew $180 on a thermal camera and it caught more bad caps than any multimeter

Everyone on here keeps saying a cheap multimeter is all you need, but after 3 board-level repairs where reheating random chips did nothing, I grabbed a $180 FLIR and found a shorted cap on a Dell board in about 90 seconds. My bench time on those jobs dropped from 4 hours to under 1. Anyone else find a tool that paid for itself way faster than they expected?
