thermal paste spread pattern, i was wrong about the pea method
Did a rebuild on a 2017 i7 rig last friday and used the line method instead, temps dropped 8c under load. i'd been preaching the pea for years but seeing the spread on glass and the actual contact patch changed my mind. anyone else swap methods after seeing direct evidence?
