That time a customer called back 3 years later to thank me
Back in 2018 I fixed this lady's old Dell desktop at my shop in Tucson. She was a retired teacher and just needed it to run faster for email and photos. I talked her out of buying a new one and just swapped in an SSD for $80. She called me last week out of nowhere said that computer is still running great and her grandson uses it for school now. Anyone else get random callbacks years later from customers you barely remember?

Guy I sold a laptop to in 2016 texted me last year saying it finally died. That was like 7 years and 3 spilled drinks later. I barely remembered him but he had a whole list of specs and the date he bought it. Honestly I'm surprised they didn't call me asking for a refund on that old Dell, knowing my luck with follow ups.

A three year old callback just to say thanks seems like a lot, but I guess it beats getting yelled at for something. Pretty nice of her to remember you after all that time though.
