Saw a repair shop in Tucson using a laminator to dry out wet boards, is that a real method?
I was in Tucson last month visiting my cousin and walked past a small repair shop where the tech had a board going through a pouch laminator on the bench. He told me he pulls the board, cleans it with 91% isopropyl, then runs it through the laminator at low heat for 20 minutes to push out moisture. I always thought you just let it air dry for a day or hit it with a hair dryer, so has anyone here tried the laminator trick and does it actually save boards?
