Rant: Everyone says thermal paste needs replacing every year but that's just a waste of time and money
I pulled apart a 6 year old Dell Optiplex last week, scraped off the crusty factory paste, and the temps were only 3 degrees higher than a fresh application so why are we all pretending this matters for office PCs that never hit 80C?
