Office Wi-Fi upgrades are killing legacy printers, anyone else seeing this?

We swapped a client's whole network over to Ubiquiti access points last month and suddenly their 2008-era HP LaserJet won't stay connected. The thing prints fine on a wired drop but drops off Wi-Fi every 10 minutes or so. I'm guessing the old print server firmware just can't handle the newer security handshakes. Has anyone found a solid workaround besides telling the customer to go buy a new printer?
