Just hit 1000 successful remote fixes this month
I was looking at my logs and the number kind of shocked me... I've been doing a lot more remote support since the shop got quiet. It's mostly small stuff, like getting a printer to talk to a new laptop or clearing out a stubborn temp profile. The real win was figuring out a script to automate the most common driver reinstall, which probably saved me 20 minutes on each call. It feels good to know I can help that many people without them having to pack up their whole computer. Has anyone else built a little tool that just saves you a ton of time on the simple jobs?

Wait, 1000 fixes in a single month? That's insane. My brain would be soup. Parker_brown59 has the right idea with the batch file, small wins add up. A script for driver reinstalls is genius though, that's the kind of boring work that kills your day. Bet you could sell that tool to other techs.

Remember that guy who spent hours each week mapping network drives for new hires? He finally made a simple script that does it in two clicks, and now he gets his lunch break back. Sometimes the best tools just handle the boring stuff so you can focus.
