Had a power supply die on me during a backup restore yesterday
Was restoring a client's server in Naperville and the PSU just popped. Lost an entire day's work waiting for a replacement. Anyone else keep spare PSUs on hand for situations like this?

Oh man, that stings. I always keep a couple spare PSUs in my service van for this exact reason. Lost a whole afternoon once when a Dell power supply died mid-migration and I had to drive 45 minutes to Micro Center. Now I just grab one off the shelf and keep moving.

Buddy of mine had a PSU die mid server reboot and had to borrow one from a Best Buy display model.
