Had a client tell me their 10 year old desktop was "running fine" even though it took 5 minutes to boot
When I finally convinced him to let me look at it in South Philly last Tuesday, I found the hard drive had less than 2GB free and the vents were caked with dust so thick I could have used it as soil for a plant - anyone else deal with people refusing to upgrade until the machine literally dies?

Is 5 minutes really THAT bad? Like yeah its slow but if the guy is just checking email and browsing recipes it's basically a free coffee break every time he sits down.
