Finally figured out why my batch file kept crashing on that one weird PC

Spent 2 hours debugging a script that worked on every machine except a Dell Optiplex from 2018. Turned out the environment variable path was too long and it was silently failing on a specific temp directory call. Anyone else run into weird OS quirks that make no sense?

Ha! Yeah that's Windows for you - gotta love those hidden landmines that only show up on one random machine. I swear every OS update is just playing roulette with your sanity. Like, oh cool, now my script works on everything except that dusty old Lenovo in accounting because of a registry key that's been deprecated since Vista.
