Am I the only one who saw a shop's cable mess go from chaos to clean in 2 weeks?
Back in March I started at a small repair shop in Dayton, and the back bench was a rat's nest of power bricks and SATA cables piled on the floor. Two weeks later the owner had me sort every adapter into labeled bins and zip tie the runs under the bench, and the average ticket pull time dropped from about 8 minutes to 3. The thing that actually caused it was simple: he bought a $40 rolling cart and made everyone put tools back the second a job was done. I still don't know if the cart or the threat of him standing there watching did more of the work. Anyone got a setup that survived more than a month without going back to junk?
