A $15 USB hub taught me more about power delivery than any certification

Plugged a 2.5" external drive into a cheap hub and it kept dropping out mid-copy, figured it was the drive dying but turns out the hub was starving it for amps. Swapped to a powered one and now I check current ratings before I trust any port on a customer's rig. Anyone else burn time on ghost faults that were just underpowered USB?
