Wasted $200 on a fake online certification last spring
Signed up for a "Google project management cert" from some site called SkillBoost Academy. Paid $200 and it was just stolen YouTube videos. No real Google backing at all. Anyone else get tricked by these scam cert sites?

Wait, you actually paid $200 for that? That sucks, man. I almost fell for the same thing last year but luckily I checked the actual Google website first. Those scam sites are getting way too good at looking legit. At least now you know to only buy certs from the official company website.

Yeah I paid $180 for a "Microsoft Azure cert" from CloudCert Pro last summer. Same thing, just a bunch of poorly narrated slideshows. The real kicker was when I tried to contact them for a refund and the email bounced back. Learned my lesson the hard way too.
