Used to chase certifications like they were badges of honor until I talked to a guy making six figures with no degree in Phoenix
He told me he never finished high school but landed a network admin job by just fixing things and asking questions, and now I question if I wasted 3 years and $8k on that A+ cert that taught me more theory than real troubleshooting.

@the_henry you gotta keep in mind a lot of those LinkedIn stories get polished up to sound more impressive. The core idea might be real but the details get stretched to fit a better narrative. Still doesn't mean it's totally made up, just take it with a grain of salt.
