Took a 6-week night class on Excel and it changed how I handle listings

I started as a real estate agent about two years ago and just used basic spreadsheets for client info. Last fall I took a community college course at Portland City College on Excel macros and pivot tables. Now I can pull comps in 10 minutes instead of an hour and track follow-ups without losing anyone. Has anyone else found that one skill that made everything click for them at work?

Learning one thing well can really ripple through everything else you do. It seems like once you get that one skill down, it makes you want to tackle other things better too.
