My sourdough starter escaped its jar and crawled across the counter

I left my starter on the counter overnight while visiting my sister in Austin, and the thing literally pushed the lid off and oozed down the side of the jar onto the cutting board. It looked like a flour monster had a meltdown all over my mom's granite. I scraped it back into a fresh jar and fed it double, and somehow it's actually bubbling better now. Has anyone else had a starter get so active it just yeets itself out of the container?

Oh man, mine did the exact same thing but ended up on the ceiling somehow.

Honestly I used to think people were exaggerating about how aggressive starters can get. But yeah, now I get it after mine climbed out of its jar and left a trail across my counter like some kind of bread slug.
