Bought a $25 proofing basket and it ruined my dough
I was using a mixing bowl with a towel for years, figured it was time to upgrade. Grabbed a cheap banneton off Amazon, thought I was saving money. First use, the dough stuck like crazy even with heavy flouring. Ended up tearing my loaf on the way out and had to scrap the whole thing. Anyone have a good recommendation for a proofing basket that actually works without wrecking your dough?

My sister bought one of those and ended up using it as a fruit bowl. She said the same thing happened to her dough, total mess.
