Watched a new guy torque a cannon plug hand tight at DFW and the lead's face went white
He said "it clicks when it's tight" so he stopped turning, and the lead had to show him the witness marks were still two threads apart, so if you have a story like that from your own ramp, I want to hear it.

The click he heard was probably the coupling bottoming out before the threads actually seated, which feels tight but isnt even close. I watched a guy do the same thing on a KC-135 in Guam and we ended up re-pinning the whole connector because of one hand tight plug. Next time tell the new guy to line up the witness marks first and count the turns, not the clicks.
