DAE realize they were torquing BNC connectors way too hard until one cracked on a Phenom 300?
Was doing a transponder swap on a Phenom 300 in Wichita last month and heard a small crack while snugging down a BNC, turns out I had been over-torquing those things for a while and just got lucky on smaller connectors. Pulled out the spec sheet after that and saw the rating was way lower than what my wrist had been telling me. How are you guys judging torque on these tiny RF connectors when you can't fit a wrench in there?
