That zip tie trick reminds me of how we used to pop off stubborn hubcaps.

Worked like a charm on a corroded 37-pin connector I had. @abby_robinson58 definitely feels different than prying off a hubcap though. Less twist, more straight pull. I looped a heavy duty zip tie through the back and used it as a little handle. Yanked it straight out with pliers on the tie. Saved my fingertips and the connector too. Best hack I learned in years for those tight spaces.

Loop it through the hole and pull tight for way more leverage than your fingers give you.
