Walked into a dealership warranty office and the guy had a stack of denied claims as high as my elbow
That stack was probably 8 inches thick and he told me most of them got rejected because the owner missed a single oil change, has anyone else run into this kind of nitpicking on their claims?

Used to think warranty companies were fair but stories like this completely changed my mind. Missing one oil change is just an excuse to deny coverage.

Yeah, no kidding. That's the oldest trick in the book. They look for any tiny excuse to get out of paying. My advice? Never trust them to keep your records straight. Keep your own paper trail for every service. I'm talking receipts, dates, mileage, the works. Then if they try that "missed oil change" line, you can just show them your proof and call their bluff. Saved me a couple times already. It's a pain but way better than getting stuck with a giant repair bill.
