Third warranty claim in four months on the same alternator, finally got a full refund

I bought a remanufactured alternator back in March from a national chain, and it died on me at 8pm on a Tuesday in the parking lot of a Walmart in Dayton. First replacement lasted two weeks, second one made it three days before the bearings screamed like a stuck pig. I kept the paperwork every time and called their customer service line, asked for a manager, and reminded them Ohio lemon law applies to parts too. They cut me a check for the full $214 plus labor on the spot. Has anyone else had luck pushing back past just a swap for a cash refund on a bad reman part?
