Dealer tried to upsell me a 3rd party plan, glad I read the fine print

I was at a Chevy dealer in Dayton last month for a oil change and the finance guy kept pushing this extended warranty that covered 'everything except wear items.' I almost signed until I noticed the deductible was $250 per visit and the coverage ended at 60k miles, which I was already at 58k. Has anyone else had a dealer try to sell them a plan that was clearly a cash grab for them?

Learned that lesson myself after signing once and realizing I paid more in deductibles than the warranty ever covered.
