A used car salesman in Omaha hinted my warranty was the wrong kind

I was picking up a new battery last Tuesday and the guy behind the counter, not a sales guy, just the shop manager, glanced at my extended warranty paperwork on the seat. He said, 'you got the exclusionary one or the named component one?' I didn't even know there were two types. I looked it up that night and sure enough, mine only covers like 40 parts, not the whole drivetrain. Has anyone else found their dealer sold them the cheaper named component plan without explaining the difference? That $1,400 policy feels a lot less solid now.
